Not much production, but really cool stuff

So even after telling my dad not to get me anything this holiday he did...
Assassins Creed Brotherhood comlplete with Jack in the Box Harlequin...
and ZOMG! a carrying case for my tryranids, thier new happy home.
As much as I asked him not to I'm glad he got me the case. Mean one less thing for me to purchase at GW.
Also before the holidays hit I purchased a big scary sexy monster for myself. ^.=.^
Meet Berserker. He is made by Hot Toys and is pure awesome.
His dreads feel really cool.
So does his skin.
He has interchangeable lengths of wrist blades, a trophy, and interchangeable fists.

 His ROAR! face. ^.=.^
 His regular face.
And lastly his awesome helm. I would show you a pic of the targeter lit up, but it seems the battery has died.
Well back to making swarms. <3

Gargoles, Rippers and Broodlord Oh My!

So this weekend I got to working on my gargoyle's new paint job.

Aren't they so cute...
 With their spots...
And floating on their fluffy cotton clouds...
You all know Shahin from my previous post.
After seeing a tutorial on Necrotales on how to paint Tyranids, I realized I wasn't happy with his original paint job...
 So I revamped him...
 And Voila! New Shahin!
Now let me introduce you to Haytham.
Haytham means Little Hawk in Arabic...
He is a bit smaller than his brother Shahin/Hawk.
Haytham was the first to get the new highlights on his carapace.
 Now meet Saqr.
In Arabic his name means Falcon.
I love how he is swooping down... like he is going to nom on the enemy.
He was the first to receive spots.
Now my rippers are still a work in progress...
Trust me the tones on the bases don't look all the same in person... the lighting is very bright in my room...
And last for this morning is my Broodlord. He's just so cute. Makes me want to hug him. <3
Well that's the last of my post... kind of tired and I need to get up early for terrain making day. <3

Today Sunny with a chance of Gargoyles

So I today I had to go to a meeting at my bank, planning my trip to Japan April 2011 and such. I got some nice photos on the way down the Galloping Goose.

I just couldn't resist, almost made me late for my meeting...

Now down to business, my gargoyles are finally primed. Here they are.

I'm quite proud of them. I'll post more later, but till then I'm going to get back to painting.

Till next time

New beginings

I've never had a blog before, but I figured it would be a good way to keep myself on track while making my Tyranid army and other projects. I can't wait to post some pictures of them.
